Are you an undergraduate or graduate college student looking for a paid internship with an employer that values diversity?
The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars (TWC) partners with over a dozen federal agencies to recruit qualified applicants for our Funded Federal Diversity Internships.
These agencies recognize that diversity brings innovation and creativity to the workplace, encourages fresh perspectives that inspire new ideas, and sparks positive change. Plus, they provide a generous stipend.

One of our most popular summer internship opportunities, Summer Transportation Internship Program for Diverse Groups (STIPDG), is now accepting applications for summer 2022!
You could spend a summer doing meaningful public service work and making valuable connections in the U.S. Department of Transportation. Remote or In-Person Internships for Summer, Spring or Fall
Many of the agencies are continuing to provide 100% remote internships. This means that no matter where you are in the country, you could be eligible for an internship with a D.C.-based federal agency. But if you do get an in-person internship in D.C., many agencies cover your transportation and housing costs.
Whether you are looking for a summer, spring or fall internship, rather than trying to navigate multiple agencies on your own to find a paid internship, you can start the application process with one inquiry form with TWC.
Best of all – there is no cost to you. TWC’s Funded Federal Diversity Internship program is 100% funded by the federal agencies that we partner with. We get you matched with the federal agency that would be the best fit, based on your background and interests to ensure that you’ll have a great internship experience.
