AACC 28th 2021 Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony
Thursday, October 28, 2021
Tickets are now available for purchase!
Due to the ongoing health and safety concerns for its members and guests, the African-American Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony virtually. Last year, over 1,000 leaders from across the country were able to join the Chamber for its annual event.
On Thursday, October 28 at 8:00 PM guests will experience an extraordinary virtual production of the Chamber’s Annual Awards Ceremony with live performances and special remarks from regional leaders. To further enhance the virtual experience, this year the AACC will have live interaction networking and audience participation.
NEW this year: The AACC is using Social Hour as our event platform to expand networking opportunities and engagement. Attendees will have the ability to join rooms and tables to network in small groups and exchange virtual business cards!
Sponsoring companies will have the opportunity to host LIVE conversations with guests, and attendees will be able to exchange virtual business cards! Sponsorship opportunities are available now and ticket sales begin next week.
For any sponsorship inquiries, please contact our Event Manager, Felicia Harris-Williams at fharris@aachamber.org.

“The African-American Chamber of Commerce of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and the Greater Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are hosting storefronts that feature a rotating selection of goods from their retail members. Their storefronts are operating out of repurposed shipping containers, with the exteriors featuring a floral motif designed by muralist Malachi Floyd in collaboration with Mural Arts Philadelphia.”

New Tax Filing and Payment Website for Philadelphia Businesses
In November we are unveiling a website that is indeed new and powerful. The Philadelphia Tax Center is not just the City’s new tax filing and payment website. It also allows business owners to:
Communicate easily and safely with our department.
Apply for business tax credits and payment agreements.
Open and close accounts.
The new website represents a big change for Philadelphia businesses, and we need your help sharing three key messages about it now:
Taxpayers should know if their mailing address in our system is correct. This ensures they can use the new website when it’s time. To update a mailing address, call (215) 686-6600.
Anyone can get more information about what’s changing at www.phila.gov/guides/Philadelphia-Tax-Center. We’ve published flyers and step-by-step instructions, including in Spanish.
Property taxes will be added the Philadelphia Tax Center later. Property owners should pay their upcoming 2022 Real Estate Tax bills in their usual way, not the Tax Center.
Members of the AACC become part of an extensive network of corporations and businesses, and are able to engage with policy-makers and business leaders across the region. In addition to exposure to valuable marketing opportunities, members participate in programming that enables them to build a powerful network that helps their businesses grow.
