MOREHOUSE: PJ Morton ‘03 again struck GRAMMY Gold!

(ATLANTA) – Multi-talented GRAMMY award-winning musician, producer, songwriter, educator and entertainer PJ Morton ‘03 again struck GRAMMY Gold, winning this year in the Best Gospel Album category for his album “The Gospel According to PJ”.

2021 marks the third consecutive year that Morton has won a GRAMMY Award, the music industry’s highest honor.

Since 2019, PJ and other GRAMMY nominated Morehouse alumni as well as other alumni in the recording and entertainment industries have gathered for the annual Morehouse Music Honors, held during GRAMMY weekend and generously sponsored by  ‘05, Greg “GP” Plummer ‘04, @Crews of California, and ChooseATL.

The Morehouse Music Honors was created by Justin Henderson ‘02, Kennard Garrett ‘01 and Brandon D. Nowden ‘02 and facilitated by Joe Carlos III, MBA ‘04.
