(PHILADELPHIA) – On behalf of the African-American Chamber of Commerce and our Board of Directors, I’d like to thank everyone that supported our 28th Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony.
Congratulations again to this year’s honorees — Vanguard Award Recipient Pedro A. Ramos and the Philadelphia Foundation; Corporate Advocate of the Year, TD Bank; Small Business of the Year, Smith Flooring; Nonprofit of the Year, City Year and Entrepreneur of the Year Garron Gibbs of TwoG Marketing.
As a chamber, we have made great strides to promote greater opportunity and quality of life for communities of color through our advocacy, partnerships and programming. Much of what we’ve accomplished was highlighted during this year’s event and much of what we have to do was echoed tonight.
I personally thank you for trusting the Chamber to advocate for YOU! We stand strong and work in partnership with you to grow black businesses and elevate your voice for equity, access and opportunity. Our team looks forward to working with you today, tomorrow and for years to come to build the Chamber of the future, the Chamber you deserve!
Yours in service,
